Xbox one sync button not working - If you plug the controller in through USB it should automatically sync to the console bypassing the need to go through the sync process with the button. When you unplug it, it should stay synced with that unit. It sounds like the button has failed on your console. So that might be the only way to go through the pairing process.

Controllers work through Micro USB but when I unplug the controller it starts searching. This started when I moved my Xbox into my bedroom from the living room. Controller worked fine before moving the console.Open Check Controller Firmware. When the prompt is shown, connect the controller with a USB cable to the console and click on Revert Firmware. Revert the Firmware of the Xbox Controller. Once the firmware is reverted, connect the Xbox controller to the Windows 11 PC and hopefully, it will be working fine..
