Casting code letter A could be 1955 or 1977. The numbers indicate April 19th. Your profile indicates a 59 Cub so IMO you should check other casting dates to determine if the final drives might have been changed (that's a pretty common parts swap). Your other casting codes might agree with the 1959 which is letter E.Instructions are in the maintenance manual. Briefly, turn engine over to get the fan oil plug at 90 degrees on the right side. Remove the plug and add oil. Rotate engine until the fill hole is on the bottom and allow excess oil to drain out. There is a stand pipe in the bearing that will keep the proper amount inside.
